Posting on: Aware Monthly Webinar - The role of medication in Mental Health

 


Aware runs a monthly webinar series focusing on a different theme each month, with a selection of expert speakers. They take place on the second Wednesday of every month and will be broadcast at 12 noon.  

Please note:

·         Each webinar is one hour in duration

·         While the webinars are broadcast using Zoom, please note you do not need to have a Zoom account to attend

·         You must register in advance for each webinar you wish to attend, to receive the link to watch it live on the day

·         Please note if you're unable to watch a webinar live, you can still register your place and you will receive an email 24 hours after the webinar to watch it back, in your own time. You must register in advance if you wish to receive this email with the link.

Ita Fitzgerald is a Senior Mental Health Pharmacist who has worked in mental health for several years now across many fields from psychosis management, to management of anxiety and depression. She attended RCSI for her BSc Pharm and subsequent MPharm. Since this time she has completed an MSc in clinical pharmacy with UCC and due to begin a PhD later this year. Her research interests are focussed in the areas of personalised medicine and antipsychotic side-effect management, particularly antipsychotic-induced weight gain.
