Ita
Fitzgerald is a Senior Mental Health
Pharmacist who has worked in mental health for several years now across many
fields from psychosis management, to management of anxiety and depression. She
attended RCSI for her BSc Pharm and subsequent MPharm. Since this time she
has completed an MSc in clinical pharmacy with UCC and due to begin a PhD later
this year. Her research interests are focussed in the areas of personalised
medicine and antipsychotic side-effect management, particularly
antipsychotic-induced weight gain.
