INVITE: MONDAY 12TH DECEMBER 2016 - MENTAL HEALTH REFORM SEMINAR ON ADVANCE HEALTHCARE DIRECTIVES FOR PEOPLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH DIFFICULTIES IN IRELAND

You are invited to Mental Health Reform's seminar on advance healthcare directives for people with mental health difficulties in Ireland.


What? Mental Health Reform will host a seminar on advance directives (ADs) for people with mental health difficulties in Ireland. This seminar will bring together national and international experts on ADs in mental health as well as key stakeholders to discuss the implementation of ADs within the Irish context.

When?  Monday 12th December 2016, 9.00am - 4.30pm 

Where?  Citywest Hotel, Saggart, Co. Dublin 

Speakers on the day will include Dr. Fiona Morrissey, Mental Health Law Researcher in Ireland, international speaker, John Oliver, Esq. (Attorney) City of Norfolk, Virginia, US and Peter Bartlett, Professor of Mental Health Law, University of Nottingham, UK. Speakers will also include experts by experience, representatives from key stakeholder bodies and Mental Health Reform's Director, Dr. Shari McDaid.

Who? This seminar is open to people with self-experience, family members, supporters, carers, mental health organisations and mental health professionals and services, academics, legal professionals, legislators, policy makers as well as other key decision makers in the area of mental health and interested groups/ individuals.
