UCC Student Visit, Wednesday 6th April 2-4pm.

Howdy folks,

On Wednesday 6th of April from 2 – 4pm we will be visited here at Gateway by some students who are studying the ‘Mental Health in the Community’ course being run by UCC. They are coming to us to learn about how Gateway Mental Health Association works, and to hear it from the people who make it work – The Members!

These guys are doing the same course that some of  our very own staff are currently studying, and of which our former project co-ordinator is now co-ordinating – so it’s safe to say that we’ve got a nice bunch of folks coming to see us! 

So, do any of you want to come along and give them your insight into how Gateway works so well? It’ll be a very informal occasion, nobody will be under any pressure to speak or do a speech or anything. Also, the students will be more than willing to answer any questions you may have about what they are learning on the course and how their workplaces support people with mental health difficulties.

Come say hello! It’s your project and you are the best ambassadors to let people know all about Gateway, we’d love to see as many of you as possible on the day!
There’ll be refreshments provided and as always we’ll have a bit of craic 

So if you would like to come along and talk to the students here at Gateway, please let us know as soon as possible.

Looking forward to seeing you here!

All the best,

John M.
