The 4th Annual NeuroPride Festival is here again and the festival will run from the 1st -8th August. This year an eclectic range of events have been organised based on the interests of the community. Organisers hope there's something there for every neurodivergent adult. The festival is aimed at Neurodivergent adults but we encourage neurotypical adults to attend those events open to all and share in our joy.
The theme for this year's festival is Neurodivergent Passion
and organisers encourage community members to submit art work, poetry, written
work or whatever they would like to share on this theme. Neuro Pride is a
celebration of neurodivergent (ND) culture and identity, and a chance for
neurodivergent people from all communities and walks of life to learn from each
other and build connections through a wide variety of online events, as well as
for allies to learn more about what it means to be neurodivergent and how they
can best support and celebrate the ND people in their own communities.
Since
the first festival, Neuro Pride Day has begun to be celebrated in other
countries around the world, and our community has grown strength by strength
and is involved in many other areas including education and advocacy. For more
