Third part of this great event with the Recovery College taking place soon!

Building Personal Worth And Connection

The Recovery College have now completed two out of three modules of their Erasmus project, as part of a Europe-wide project with the aim to use recovery education to empower and connect people with lived experiences of mental health and/or substance use issues. The first module was their Connect, Create, Participate course which you may have seen advertised. Through this course, participants worked together to create the key concepts for delivering a recovery education course in their community (as well as connecting to their own and each other's experiences and building community with each other). Participants then had the option to do facilitation training, in order to develop skills for delivering courses. Now, the RC have two of their lovely graduates, Wendy and Robert going to facilitate the course created in the first module, which will be called Building Personal Worth and Connection. The course will run on Friday mornings, from May 25th for 6 weeks, until June 30th. How exciting!
